If you are studying at a university or college in Norwich we want you to feel welcome and included in the life of Gateway Vineyard.

Welcome to Norwich!

Thanks for looking at our student page which gives information about regular student events however as you look to settle in Norwich here are a few things that might help you decide if Gateway Vineyard is a church you would like to join:

Welcome Lunches

Coming up are 2 welcome lunches on October 2nd and 9th. These are free lunches that take place straight after the service. You can find out a bit more about Gateway Vineyard and meet other students. You can just turn up or to book a place or give details of any dietary requirements message us here

Transport is provided to and from the UEA

Life Groups

If you would like to get involved in a Life Group, there are groups that meet midweek which meet near to the UEA. The Student Life Group is launching on Monday 24th October at 8pm with a Pizza Night. If you would like to get involved please contact Jo Thomas at the Church Office and she will put you in contact with one of the student leaders. Student Lunches

Every month we host lunches for students after the morning service. In October we are having two Student Getting Connected Lunches after the service on 2nd and 9th October. Please come along to meet other students at Gateway and to find out more about the church.

Fusion

Gateway Vineyard is part of the Fusion Church Connection and is committed to supporting and equipping students. Please speak to your small group leader if there are any ways you would like to get involved or any further support we can offer you.

Transport – Free Taxis

Each Sunday during term time there is a free taxi service for students from the LCR on the UEA campus to Norwich High School For Girls, Newmarket Road to come to the morning service. The taxis then do the return journey after the service. Please let us know if you would like a taxi on the Facebook page the night before.

Buses

From UEA catch the 25 bus, get off on Unthank Road by the Eaton Cottage Pub, walk a long Mount Pleasent, turn right on to Albemarle Road and enter Norwich High School For Girls at the end of the road.

From the City Centre catch any of the number 11, 13, 14 or 15 buses towards Cringleford or Eaton (ask for Newmarket road to be sure). Get off at the bus stop opposite Albemarle Road and enter the school on Newmarket Road.
